Welcome! Click here to download the schedule. Keep in mind this is a guideline and is by no means carved in stone. This being said, we will do our best to stick to it! On June 24th 2010 we will begin our journey by bicycle from Victoria, British Columbia to Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are working in conjunction with the Alzheimer Society of Canada in an effort to raise $25 000, as well as to elevate awareness for Alzheimer’s disease. The trip has been a dream of ours for many years, and we are excited at the prospect of it finally becoming a reality this summer. We hope that you will support us in our ride to help the Alzheimer Society of Canada by clicking on the link above. If you prefer, cheques can be made out to the "Alzheimer Society of Canada". In the memo line write "Across the nation" and then mail them to the following address: Be sure to drop by our site often to be updated on news, our location, stories and pictures. We want to recognize everyone who has helped and have created a list of donors on the side. Thank you!

The Alzheimer Society: We realized the trip provided a perfect opportunity to help others, which lead us to our decision to raise support and awareness for the Alzheimer Society of Canada. In recent years one of our families has been profoundly affected by the onset of Alzheimer’s disease as two grandparents slipped slowly but surely into a state of dementia. It seemed fitting to choose to focus our fundraising efforts on the Alzheimer Society, given our personal connection with this tragic illness and the fact that the disease affects so many Canadians and their families. The Alzheimer Society is dedicated towards providing information and support for those affected as well as investing funds towards research. More information is available at: http://www.alzheimers.ca/english/society/whatwedo.htm
